Subcompact: 2016 Chevrolet Spark
Whenever a car is redesigned these days, the dashboard and center console are upgraded and some of the latest connectivity technologies are incorporated. This can bring some nice surprises especially for budget cars like most subcompacts. The redesigned Spark will have 4G WiFi inside and a new center stack with a capacitive touch display screen. The exterior is less boxy giving it a similar look to many of its rivals. GM has been developing a line of Ecotec high efficiency, small displacement engines and the Spark benefits with a new 1.4 four-cylinder engine that will improve both the Sparks power and fuel economy. The all-new Spark will become a leader of the subcompact class…at least until another carmaker ups the ante.
